IT Healthcare and Epic/EHR experience highly desired.
Works independently to manage and coordinate multiple, complex project plans, including implementation schedules and resource estimates. Provide project leadership and direction for entity-based teams. Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating technology and implementation activities on an enterprise-wide level in applications development and for application system installations. Responsible for coordinating activities of entity-based project teams, identifying appropriate corporate and entity resources needed to staff the team, and developing schedules and project plans as well as risk identification, change management, communication planning and integration planning. Leads projects of varying degrees of complexity overseeing the activities of other resources. Maintains close working relationships with leadership, customers, and facilitates business relationships with vendor representatives and consulting engagements.
Performs specific job responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Project Management or Business Management, or 6+ years related experience required.
Experience: 6+ years of escalating project management experience in healthcare or business setting optimally using information systems. Ability to demonstrate advanced Project and Program management skills.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: PMP certification is required. ScrumMaster certification is required. ITIL V3 Foundation Certification preferred. Must be licensed to legally operate a motor vehicle in Virginia.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices. Goal orientation and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organizing, communication, team motivation and delegation. Process orientation with strong strategic planning skills and creativity. Strong problem solving skills and inherent decision making ability. Strong dedication to deliver quality customer service in a timely manner. Good human relations, diplomacy, and oral/written communications skills in technical and non-technical areas.
