Superlanet is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Epic Analyst with expertise in Beacon and Willow modules. This role will play a crucial part in supporting a healthcare organization in Oregon. As a Senior Epic Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Epic software applications. This is a direct hire opportunity that will remain remote. 



  • Plans, Analyzes, designs, implements, tests, debugs and maintains Epic software applications.

  • Provides guidance and support to end-users to enhance the use of the Epic system; Performs analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex incidents not resolved by the user or Tier I support.

  • Produces knowledge articles, architecture documents, and strategic plans as needed to guide the technical strategy of the department. Holds others accountable to utilizing and keeping that documentation up to date within their content area.

  • Responsible for maintaining system integrity; Leads others to solve complex problems; Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.

  • Leads & mentors team and assists manager/supervisor in prioritizing work within given area of expertise; Leads projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.

  • Works with internal and external stakeholders for analysis and design of quality clinical build while considering vendor best practice recommendations, strategic organizational alignment, value to the customer, return on investment, maintenance considerations, and alternate solutions.

  • Follows and coaches the team to adhere to standards for internal build, build documentation, and build change processes to assure consistency with build requirements and system stability.

  • Participates in and/or facilitates committees, project teams, and performance/process improvements as a content expert and advisor to the team.

  • Provides required business and/or technical support for both project and production-related activities. Assures compliance to required standards and all that necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project life cycle.








Requirements

Background/Expertise:



  • Bachelor's Degree required; OR Eight (8) years related work experience; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience where each year of education equates to Two (2) years of experience.

  • Minimum of Six (6) years of Epic related experience required; Experience in an inpatient or ambulatory setting preferred.

  • Epic Beacon OR Willow certification required at time of hire; Kaizen basics course within first year of employment; Base understanding of Lean preferred. 

  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Solid communication skills, both oral and written. 

  • Ability to work in department and interdepartmentally to articulate ideas, negotiate resolution of issues, and achieve objectives.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
