Fusion Health is seeking a bright, motivated, and outgoing Market Research Analyst to join our Business Development team at our Woodbridge, NJ office location! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and market research, with an ability to extract and communicate actionable insights that drive growth. You will play a key role in driving market research initiatives, with a focus on analyzing market trends and competitive dynamics to uncover new market opportunities, particularly in the healthcare technology market. Your role will involve conducting competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation, helping to inform strategic decisions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to explore new product ideas that align with emerging client needs and industry shifts. Additionally, you will identify potential third-party partnership opportunities that enhance our product offerings and strengthen our position in the market. Your efforts will directly contribute to shaping our product roadmap, expanding market share, and ensuring we stay ahead of industry developments.

This role looks like...


The Business Development team is vital to our organization’s mission and growth. This role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will enhance the team’s success. The key responsibilities for this role are:



  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the healthcare IT industry, specifically focused on public sector and government clients. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.

  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor activities, product offerings, and market positioning to identify potential risks and opportunities for differentiation.

  • Marketing Support: Assist the Marketing Manager in planning and executing marketing campaigns and activities. Help ensure data-driven insights are integrated into marketing strategies for product launches and business development initiatives. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.

  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with sales reps and client success managers, providing detailed market intelligence, competitor insights, and data-driven recommendations to help them deliver informed presentations, proposals, and upsell opportunities.

  • Product Development: Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams to assess market needs and trends, helping determine the approach for building or enhancing applications. Also identify potential 3rd party partners that Fusion can leverage to add value to their portfolio of product and service offerings.

  • Regulatory Tracking: Monitor and report on relevant government legislation, public health policies, and emerging technologies that could impact business development efforts.

  • Strategic Reporting: Produce reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing key findings for internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, marketing, and sales teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in market research, preferably within healthcare or IT sectors, with a focus on government or public sector clients.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in data collection, statistical analysis, and the use of research tools and software.

  • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and government healthcare policies is a plus.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product and sales teams to support market positioning, product enhancements, and client engagement strategies.

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clearly communicate findings to cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of google ad-words or other marketing platforms a plus.



Additional Details:



  • This is an on-site (hybrid), full-time, salaried position at our Woodbridge, NJ office location. Our normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

  • Salary is DOE, please provide your salary expectations in the application.
