Job Title: Healthcare Project Manager           

 

Angel Kids Pediatrics is the largest Pediatric group in Jacksonville, FL, with 7 offices and 15 providers caring for more than 40,000 families in the greater Jacksonville area. Our practice is growing and is actively searching for a Healthcare Project Manager at our corporate office location.  

Classification: Exempt, Full time                                                                                                                                                

Supervisory Responsibilities: No            

 

Summary:

A Healthcare Project Manager is responsible for participating in project development, budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation, as well as client relations. This involves broad oversight and leadership in the areas of project management, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and tracking and status reporting of tasks in support of the Corporation.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • PMP certification or formal education in Project Management required.
  • MBA or MS in Computer Information Sciences preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Project Management role required.
  • Individual must have prior knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Project, LAN-based systems, Internet-based systems and products.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members to define and implement agreed upon solutions.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff.
  • Ability to work effectively on concurrent, multiple tasks and sub-projects.
  • Must be able to take ownership and independently manage projects from requirements through implementation.
     Candidate should have the ability to build relationships with clients and peers to successfully implement projects, and find synergies with other strategic initiatives and opportunities.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the enterprise and vendor partners, and have the ability to document project requirements, analyze and recommend technology solution for project, communicate with management, colleagues and vendors.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work effectively with team members to define and implement agreed upon solutions.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff.
  • Ability to work effectively on concurrent, multiple tasks and sub-projects.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor, define and manage detailed implementation timelines
  • Work with vendor consultants to plan and coordinate tasks for staff
  • Prioritize and assign tasks to Team Members
  • Produce regular status reports on progress by milestone and emerging issues
  • Meet regularly with management, project teams, and functional team leaders to review status, advise, and resolve problems
  • Plan high level, long-term project direction/needs and work closely with the implementation
  • Define, plan, organize, coordinate and lead implementation of project subtasks.
  • Participate in identifying the resources required for project
  • Communicate resource needs for other Angel Kids departments in support of the implementation
  • Assist team leaders with cost/benefit analysis and impact of proposed modifications
  • Identify and communicate potential implementation risks and mitigations
  • Identify and communicate potential opportunities

 

Additional Duties

 

Travel:  Travel is primarily local during the business day. May be required to travel between offices as needed.
