Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. 


We are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to work in our Baltimore Regional office.



The Project Manager will lead Enterprise Technology projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion that meets quality and scope. They'll develop plans, manage resources, and mitigate risks while keeping stakeholders informed. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex projects and regulations.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage the execution of assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality and scope requirements.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, utilizing project management methodologies.

  • Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing contingency plans.

  • Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on project status to stakeholders.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and clients.

  • Manage project scope creep and ensure project deliverables meet all contractual obligations.

  • Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and healthcare providers.

  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant health and government regulations.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in project management.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a demonstrable track record of success in managing projects within the health or government sectors.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).

  • A valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (highly preferred).

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or an IT related field (preferred).

  • Experience working with government agencies and healthcare providers is a strong asset.
