EPIC Certified Home Health Applications Analyst II, NY

United Health Services is seeking a EPIC Certified Home Health Applications Analyst II to join our Epic Ambulatory Applications department at NY in Johnson City, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

Overview

Responsible for identifying, evaluating, analyzing and recommending changes in support of assigned applications/systems including ongoing production maintenance and trouble-shooting. Supports the planning, design, development, build and/or configuration of Epic's Dorothy (Home Health) and Ambulatory applications/systems. Leads and/or coordinates conversions, application/system testing and documentation of system procedures. Participates and provides input in training design and development and assists in training execution in relation to assigned projects. Provides go-live support and serves as primary point of contact for ongoing maintenance/support and trouble-shooting.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:


  • Two to three (2-3) years of healthcare operations (clinical, patient care, administrative or revenue cycle), information technology or health information technology experience

OR


  • Demonstrated competency in Applications Analyst I role

Preferred:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (information technology or clinical/healthcare fields)

License/Certification


Minimum Required:


  • For Epic roles: Current Epic certification(s)
    • OR
  • Willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completion of training at Epic in application as assigned.

Preferred:


  • Current Epic certification(s)
