The PHC Information Technology Division supports our community-focused healthcare system with 18 primary care facilities, 3 hospitals, home health care, hospice services, long term care and senior residence communities, health and a fitness center.  We have attained national recognition for our pioneering approach to business intelligence and population health management.  We were the first system to use Epic’s Cogito data warehouse in a production environment which afforded our ACO a method for managing their population’s health.  We have successfully attested for Stage 1 of meaningful use for our hospitals and physicians, as well as have attained Stage6 designation on the HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM).  We continue to be a leader in providing effective technology in support of our organization’s healthcare strategies.


 


Hours: Monday - Friday normal business hours as needed, participation in department on call rotation required.

At ProHealth Care, the Epic Applications Team provides ample opportunity for individual growth on an expanding team that is continuously looking to leverage new Epic modules in the organization and facilitate additional Community Connect implementations.  The team fosters cross application collaboration and highlights the role of integration within Epic, which presents endless opportunities to expand your Epic knowledge base. This Sr. Analyst will be responsible for implementation of Epic Beaker to include instrument connectivity using Data Innovation, conversion of all required data points to move from current LIS system to Beaker, connection of HCLL Blood Bank system, report writing to capture required data used by Lab Management, reference laboratory build work, as well as any other tasks required for the successful implementation of Beaker.  


 


Upon system implementation, the role is continuously responsible for the analysis, build, testing, implementation and support activities for the application. Ensures the system furthers the enterprise’s goal of excellent patient care as well as supporting the ProHealth quality initiatives. Sr. Analysts work with other Application Coordinators and Business Analysts to maintain an integrated medical record that supports the vision of “One Record. One Patient.” Ensures adherence to the standard system while working with subject matter experts, champions, super users to resolve issues and work toward a common goal. Working closely in a matrix environment with principle trainers and others is crucial for success. The primary support contact for the application and serve as a bridge between end users and the vendor staff.


 


Qualifications:


·        Associate's degree in a related field required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Will consider commensurate education and experience in lieu of degree.


·        At least 4 years related technical and EPIC experience required.


·        Epic certification in Beaker and ability to keep accreditation up to date for all new releases required.


·        Must be flexible to provide on-call support per team rotation.
