Fusion Health is seeking a bright, motivated, and outgoing Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance to join our Engineering team at our Woodbridge, NJ office location! This candidate will participate in dynamic and challenging projects to change how the company defines, prioritizes, and delivers their products. This role looks like...


The Quality Assurance team is vital to our organization’s mission and growth. This role will drive a multitude of projects that will enhance the Engineering team’s success, such as:



  • Drive the strategy and vision for quality assurance and compliance of industry regulations across the organization, ensuring the highest standards of quality for our products

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA program including functional testing, automated regression testing and performance testing

  • Develop and implement a compliance framework (policies and procedures) to address development, implementation and maintenance of compliance programs

  • Drive annual plan risk assessment and audit, collaborating with the various teams, to assist the enterprise in identifying areas with potential compliance issues.

  • Manage, mentor, and coach the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence

  • Leading the development, implementation, and management of our compliance programs, particularly in relation to privacy laws (HIPAA) and data protection regulations

  • Overseeing and maintaining compliance certifications such as SOC2, ensuring continuous adherence to standards and facilitating audits.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to monitor and mitigate risks to maintain high product/service quality

  • Advocate for quality integration at all stages of the development process

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure seamless integration of QA and Compliance processes and efficient testing of new features

  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of QA automation strategies, with a focus on increasing efficiency and coverage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 10+ years of QA experience in software products is required

  • Management experience is required

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects, prioritize effectively, and ensure meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance information clearly and effectively.

  • A deep understanding of quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools, particularly in web and mobile application testing

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress and TestRail

  • A strong background in managing QA, Compliance, and technical teams, with a focus on resolving complex production issues and improving system reliability

  • Strategic thinker, capable of driving the QA vision for the organization and aligning it with broader company goals.

  • Strong experience in compliance, particularly in privacy (HIPAA), data protection, and industry standards such as SOC2.

  • Thorough knowledge in the application of health law and policy, managed regulation and compliance programs and/or the fundamentals of healthcare organization, administration and standards, regulations and law



Additional Details:



  • This is an on-site (hybrid), full-time, salaried position at our Woodbridge, NJ office location. Our normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET.
