Community Connect Project Manager Consultant
As a member of the Nordic consulting team, the Community Connect Project Manager consultant partners with clients to oversee Community Connect implementations, navigate politically charged affiliate or merger landscapes at client sites and deliver excellent project results to customers. This individual will work closely with the Nordic Affiliate Solutions team as well as the Community Connect project team, including other Nordic consultants and healthcare organization employees.
Key Responsibilities
The Community Connect Project Manager Consultant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Partnering with clients in all phases of Community Connect projects, from strategy to successful implementations
- Working closely with clients to build Community Connect solutions that meet their business needs and the needs of their community partners
- Effectively leading Community Connect projects
- Leading and mentoring teammates to deliver high quality Connect implementations
- Creating and adopting standards, policies, and best practices related to Community Connect implementations
- Providing recommendations based upon previous Community Connect experiences
- Creating and ensuring standardized project documentation and materials, including but not limited to meeting agendas, notes, project plans, status reports, and risk and issue trackers
- Creating high quality presentations and presenting to diverse client teams including executives
- Serving as a point of escalation for clients, consultants, and affiliate sites
- Collaborating with and reporting project milestones and issues to the Nordic Affiliate Solutions Engagement Advisor to ensure project success
- Working with the Nordic Affiliate Solutions team to continually enhance processes and toolkit documentation improving current and future client deliverables and experiences
- Escalating project issues and risks to the Nordic Affiliate Solutions team and/or Engagement Advisor, as well as healthcare organization executives in a timely and meaningful manner
- Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager for Community Connect implementations
- Demonstrated understanding of Community Connect business models, best practices for timelines and staffing, understanding of and experience working with affiliated partners of health systems
- Exemplified working knowledge of Stark Law, affiliate pricing, subsidization, licensing models, and governance strongly preferred
- Previous Ambulatory and/or Inpatient project management leadership experience strongly preferred
- Epic certification and/or previous application build experience preferred, though not required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent presentation creation and delivery skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting customer service commitments and project timelines
- Demonstrated ability to effectively escalate project issues and risks in a timely manner
- Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, as well as with diverse candidates, consultants, and client bases
- Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment and to alter approach or method to successfully lead change; reacting well under pressure
- Previous leadership experience with politically charged client environments strongly preferred
- Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment
